I am very excited to bringing these fabulous hand crafted wines from the high altitude region of Fontanars del Alforins some 45 minutes away from the centre of Valencia. I was delighted to go on my first vineyard and winery trip in July last year to visit José Ramón Domenech and Pilar Esteve the winemaking couple behind this fabulous winery. It really is a hands on place, quantities are really small yet the attention to detail is huge. These are wines big on personality majoring on some of the 'forgotten' varieties of this undervalued region.
