'you will drink from your sister's cup' A blend of Macabeo 45% Monastrell 23% (red grapes vinified as white), Verdil 18% Subirat Parent (Malvasia) 14% Spent a fair bit of time on skins, wild yeast fermented, 70% aged in steel, 30% in wood, 15% French and 15% Acacia. Perfumed nose with white peach, some floral notes, hints of pineapple and nutty oak. Fresh and crisp but also rich and textural. Nutty oak alongside spice, orange, creamy stone fruits too. A hint of phenolics too, but all round a genuinely delicious and intriguing wine. Sure to be incredibly food versatile too. ".... It's an unusual and gastronomic white produced with a blend of white and red grapes vinified in white. I It feels full of character, powerful but fresh, with some leesy aromas and a touch of white pepper, perhaps from being partially matured in oak and acacia barrels. This is the best vintage for this bottling so far. 5,179 bottles and 74 magnums produced. It was bottled in July 2019." 91pts Luis Gutiérrez The Wine advocate 9/20
