Bodega Mustiguillo

Mustiguillo make fabulous wines full of finesse, planting at 800m+ above sea level in the Utiel Requena region near Valencia.  Bodega Mustiguillo have an emphasis on freshness, making aromatic, varietal, distinctive whites and balanced, precise reds using the indigenous Bobal grape. They have a lot of mature vineyards, all of which are organic and many now practising biodynamic. Constantly trying to learn and improve they are doings lots of soil trial to learn more about the specific terroir's. I visited in July 2022 and was blown away by the quality across the board. Lots of new wines and innovation.
