Collection: Palacios Remondo 2023 Release

Founded in 1945, Palacios Remondo has become a key player on the Rioja wine scene. Under Álvaro Palacios' leadership, the winery has gained recognition for its high-quality wines from the previously underrated Rioja Oriental. Building on his experience in Priorat, Palacios emphasizes the use of Garnacha and high-altitude vineyards to create wines with freshness and aromatic complexity. The winery's best know wine, La Montesa is made primarily from Garnacha, with smaller amounts of other varieties like Graciano and Bobal. Palacios also produces premium wines including Quiñón de Valmira, a single-vineyard Garnacha from the Monte Yerga slopes. The 2023 vintage introduced another single-vineyard wine, Valdelareina, showcasing a distinct terroir with red clay soil.

These have had some amazimg press from lots of the worlds most respected journalists with Luis Gutiérrez of The Wine Advocate awardin the Quiñón de Valmira 2023 100 points.

Palacios Remondo has successfully positioned itself as a leader in modern Spanish winemaking, focusing on terroir-driven wines and the expression of Garnacha.
