A champagne from a small producer, with vineyards based around the town of Château-Thierry and neighbouring village Essomes-sur-Marne. They farm from only 8 hectares.
Located to the west of the Champagne winemaking region which is where the Meunier grape thrives: the Marne Valley.
In harmony with this unique terroir with its mainly sand and clay soils, L’ete Vautrain grow Meunier (49%), Chardonnay (28%), and in smaller quantities Pinot Noir (23%) grapes.
