Collection: Benoit Daridan

Benoit Daridan’s 21-acre estate is located in Cour Cheverny between Loire and Sologne, near Château de Cheverny and Château Chambord and operates with sustainable farming practices.

They take great care of their vineyards, nurturing the soil, the plants and the surrounding environment. This develops a unique character of their wines and represents the treasures of their terroir.

Combining both modern equipment and traditional winemaking methods to work the vines using clay-siliceous and limestone soil, many of their wines are labelled “AOC Cheverny”, “AOC Cour-Cheverny” or “Vin de France”.

The estate is notably home to a 50-year old plot of land, just over 4,5 acres big, that produces a rare and unique grape. First introduced by Francois I of France, the “Romorantin” grape offers subtle yet captivating flavours that preserve its typicity.

Son of a winemaker for seven generations, Benoit Daridan took to the commands of the family vineyard in 2001, after extensive experience in France and around the world. Passionate about his wine, his lands and the surrounding environment, Benoît has chosen to use a sustainable farming system.
