Always good- this may be the best wine yet, made by the supremely talented Donovan Rall. An intriguing blend of Chenin Blanc, Semillon,Viognier and Grenache Blanc and Verdelho. Stone fruits, spice, some floral notes and nutty oak on the nose. Good palate weight with tangy peach and citrus, pink grapefruit in particular, allied to nutty, toasty oak, some spice too and lovely limey acidity on the finish. It's as intriguing as the blend and definitely a wine that grows in the glass. Lots going on, but remains focussed and is a delicious characterful wine
