Valle Dell'Acate Il Frappato Vittoria 2020 Bottle

I was delighted to get reacquainted with this wine in September, It's simply delicious. Part of the Vittoria Frappato DOC this is perfumed with strawberry and cherry. Light in colour and body but not flavour. Crunchy cherry and red berry fruits abound with good acidity and soft tannins. Best served cool and it's that rare thing a red that could partner well with fish and is great with tomato too - often a tricky match. Great with pizza and lots of pasta dishes too, Bolognese, Amatriciana for example!
