It's an offer tinged with sadness as proprietor Sam Neill sadly passed away in July this year.
Noel was lucky enough to spend a lunch and whole afternoon with Sam some years ago in Central Otago. Just the two of them and his dogs and pigs and so on!! Sam clearly loved the whole project, and it was more than a labour of love. He was infectious about everything to do with owning a vineyard and making good wines, had a strong bond with the other local vignerons too. It was a memorable experience and he will be sadly missed.
We are offering a mixed case of the new Proprietor's Reserve wines alongside the Picnic Pinot Noir and the new vintage of the Estate Pinot Noir.
