It's spicy and smoky from the aging in oak and has a showy profile, ripe without excess at 14.56% alcohol and with nice balance and juiciness. I thought this was a delicious voluptuous red full of brambly fruit, spice and creamy oak. Rich, hedonistic, yet beautifully balanced, almost silky.
