Named after the signature spice blend of South Africa, this huge wine is made from classic Rhône varieties. The blend changes every year according to the vintage. Grenache 27%, Shiraz 26%, Mourvèdre 22%, Carignan 11%, Petite Sirah 8%, Tannat 6%. Spicy nose with warm berry fruits and hints of cinnamon and clove. Juicy style but also showing just a touch of development, hints of forest floor and cedar. Needs full flavoured food and was good with Asian sticky pork belly.
