Navarra is famous for its deep coloured dry rosado wines and this made from old vine Garnacha is a classic example.
Though pale rosé is very fashionable, this is a traditional style of Garnacha rosado. Sarria focus on creating a full-flavoured wine rather than sacrificing flavour in an atttempt to meet the popular aesthetic. It's a textured, more complex, rosé with bright and intense red cherry and berry characters with hints of strawberry. Ripe, mouth-filling and concentrated with some tannic grip, yet balanced by fresh acidity.
Great with all sorts of food, recently was great with some spicy Mexican beef fajitas!
