A careful selection of the grapes took place in the vineyard, followed by gentle pressing. The must was fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks at temperature controlled conditions. The wine went through full malolactic conversion and was then aged for a period of 12 months. 50% of the wine was matured in seasoned 22-hectolitre Slovenian oak casks and 50% in concrete vats.
An outstanding Soave showing great finesse and aromatic complexity with fine floral aromas, peach and apricot notes and a hint of spicy minerality. Harmoniously balanced, the richly textured fruit flavours lead to a long and elegant finish.
"The 2023 Soave Broia is incredibly pretty, with a bouquet of chamomile and mint giving way to lime-infused apples. It opens with a pleasant inner sweetness and juicy acidity that propels ripe orchard fruits across the palate as crisp mineral tones add a tactile crunch. This tapers off fresh, leaving a citrus tinge and cascade of inner florals." 92pts Eric Guido Vinous 9/12
