""It used to be hard to sell red blends," says Donovan Rall, “but that’s changing.” This wine is part of the reason why. Combining Syrah from schist soils with 20% Cinsault from granite, it has the depth, concentration and intensity of the 2024 vintage, a spine of chewy tannins, some subtle reduction and a palate of blackberry, damson, fennel and dried herbs. 2028-35" 93pts Tim Atkin MW South Africa Report 2026
"The 2024 Red has an extremely well-defined bouquet, with slightly ferrous dark berry fruit, hints of white pepper and sage, gaining momentum as it opens in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied but with impressive grip, real backbone here (more than the '25). Quite linear towards the Cornas-like finish with an iron-like aftertaste. This is a serious Rhône blend that will age with style." 96pts Neal Martin Vinous 9/26
