"The 2023 Mallaura Blanco (there's now also a red) was produced with a blend of 50% Malvasía and equal part of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. There are some balsamic and medicinal notes, a hint of creaminess and a tender palate with good ripeness, 13% alcohol and balanced acidity. Although the blend doesn't make much sense to me, the result is quite pleasant and serious, with a chalky texture and a serious profile. It matured in 225-liter used French oak barrels for 10 months. 1,500 bottles were filled in August 2024." 93 pts Luis Gutiérrez The Wine Advocate
