Quinta do Ameal Bico Amarelo Vinho Verde Tinto 2025

Fabulous light red. Made to be drunk chilled - they suggest 8-12c. Made with the local red varieties—Padeiro, Espadeiro and Borraçal. It expresses the classical red Vinho Verde style. Made with carbonic maceration, it's light in colour, has a nose of herbs and wild berries, juicy and fresh on the palate, light and crunchy, low in alcohol at just 11.5% It's incredibly easy to drink and surprisingly versatile food wise, was great with greek style chicken skewers, and some beef chilli quesadilla's, but work well with salads, pizza, pasta etc. Great value too.
