An awesome value new wine from Portugal Local varieties Jaen, Alfrocheiro, Touriga Nacional, and Tinta Roriz are sourced from the Dão region. After harvesting each grape variety is vinified separately, with gentle extraction, and aged in cement tanks. In the spring following the harvest they are blended together, and the wine remains in cement before bottling.
Appealing and lifted red fruit aromas with a gently herbal note. Crunchy strawberry and raspberry fruit on the palate, which is fresh and elegant with smooth tannins and bright acidity. Lots going on for such a good value wine.
