"This beautiful Poggiotondo wine is organically grown, and it is a structured and fruit-dense wine. Plums, mulberries, red cherries and layers of discreet spice invade the senses, and by contrast to the happy-go-lucky, youthful 2024 vintage wine below, this is a more luxurious and intense wine. Having said this, the tannins have already melted away, so the fruit is unencumbered and silky, making this a thrilling Chianti with waves of juicy fruits of the forest flavours tempered by crisp acidity. The balance throughout is incredible, and, like its stablemates, the value is extraordinary." Matthew Jukes
