Pierre-Marie Chermette (Domaine du Vissoux) Fleurie 'Poncié 2023

We are loving the 2023 Beaujolais' so bright, fresh, juicy and ripe. This is a delicious single vineyard Fleurie from Pierre Marie Chemette (for many years the wines were marketed under the Domaine du Vissoux label). The 2023 Fleurie Poncié hails from a southeast-facing, higher-altitude site that’s typically quite cool, and that’s reflected in its bright, perfumed bouquet of raspberries, rose petals and cherries, with suggestions of darker fruits emerging with air. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, pure and nicely concentrated, with fine tannins, a bright line of acidity and long juicy, fresh finish.
