In Bond - Occidental 'Freestone-Occidental' Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast 2023

Catherine and Steve Kistler are understandably very happy with their delicious 2023 Freestone. The nose is so fragrant and fine, exuding dense blueberries alongside black and red cherries and lifted notes of fresh fennel and wild oregano.The wine has such a beautiful mouthfeel with tannins that are chalk-powder smooth. All is so integrated and harmonious on the palate with gorgeous, bright red and black cherry fruit. This is so supple and tasty, with a lip-smacking finish that is limestone-pure and exquisitely refreshing. Drink 2025 to 2037.
