The medium-bodied palate is concentrated yet elegant, flooding the mouth with layers of crunchy red and blue fruit. "The 2023 Pinot Noir Bodega Ridge Vineyard is a bright ruby red hue and so expressive and peppery, with layered aromas of black raspberries, wild juniper, incense, sage, rosemary, and toasted spice. (It seems that every time I go back to it, there’s another layer.) The palate has lush, even tannins and a long finish. Drink over the coming 20 years, although it already has a lot to say today.
