This single vineyard wine from our home vineyard in Derril Road is further evidence of what our fine vineyard site and mature vines can produce in a really good year. It includes some wine from interesting clones grafted onto our old Cabernet vines (planted in 1983).

"he most savoury of the Moorooduc Estate pinots this vintage (no Garden Vineyard made, assuming due to low yields) yet still a core of ripe fruit, and it's open-knit. Some poached rhubarb, cherry compote and blood orange plus zest, an array of baking spices and fresh basil. Tannins are plump and pliable, the acidity refreshing and mouth-watering. It feels calm and calming. A lovely wine.." 95 pts Jane Faulkner James Halliday Wine Companion
