"The 2020 Reserva Branco is mostly Arinto with 35% old vines in a field blend, aged in a 60/40 mixture of used French oak and stainless steel for 12 months. It comes in at 13.4% alcohol. Feeling rather full-bodied in mouthfeel and moderately intense, this is a well-balanced wine that is simply designed for food. It has the stuffing and the structure but not the personality to make it a great porch-sipper. It still seems impressive while young, with the potential to improve. This is just the second vintage of this. I suspect it can eventually do even better. There were 6,000 bottles produced." Mark Squires The Wine Advocate
Rich and nutty with good acidity, I thought it was really interesting, long and complex, a wine that evolves in the glass, with some textural quality too.
