This famous old estate in Stellenbosch is making a real return to quality winemaking. A really attractive Merlot this, quite perfumed with morello cherry, plum, cassis and a touch of oak on both the nose and palate. Vibrant and juicy on the palate with similar red and black berry characters, a touch of spice and creamy oak. A very attractive, fairly full bodied, yet bright red. Top value too.
