This new Chardonnay should appeal to all of those who crave a little added body to their Chardonnay - this is not a green and skinny number, and whilst it is not a throwback to the overly oaked offerings, this does have some textural depth and intensity that comes from some oak influence. Stone fruits and a mid-weight body with lovely nutty notes make for a superbly drinkable white that is quite Burgundian without the price tag.
