Delicious wine, mostly Malvasia, small production.
".The white 2023 Lafont was produced with grapes from different vine plots on white soils in the village of La Font de la Figuera. It's a blend of Malvasía, Macabeo and Tortosí on limestone soils with only 12% alcohol and a pH of 3.1, parameters of a light to medium-bodied white with very good freshness. It fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete and matured with lees for six months in barriques and a new foudre this year. It's smoky and spicy, still marked by the élevage, with notes of sesame seeds, pollen and herbs. It's medium-bodied, with a chalky texture, balanced and fresh. The oak should integrate with a little more time in bottle. 5,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2024.." 93 pts Luis Gutierrez The Wine Advocate
