Produced from the indigenous varieties Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz. Part of the wine is aged in used French oak barrels for 12 months.
Aromas of berry fruit and a hint of spice. Raspberry and cherry characters on the palate, balanced by supple tannins and bright acidity, gently creamy too, very supple and easy drinking yet with enough stuffing to be a very versatile food wine, was great with a spiced lamb curry!
