Richard Kershaw MW started this label in 2012, with a focus on Chardonnay and the Elgin region. Vinified with minimal intervention and made from a selection of Chardonnay clones from Burgundy, this is aged in roughly 50% new oak and has become a standard-bearer for the variety in the cape.

JM: 'Subtle Savoury, spicy nose with ripe apple, quince and wood spice. Firm, fresh palate with good length and a touch of parsnip, marked by leesy shortbread notes.'
AH: 'Very Burgundian. Rich, weighty, yet with lots of finesse and focus to balance the richness. Lovel oak, quite dominant but in keeping with the wine. Concentrated, plush, impressive, ageworthy.'
RJ: 'Elegant, refined, focused, textured. Poached stone fruit, brioche, vanilla spice, pineapple and macadamia nuts. Superlative. A wine to enjoy now but with age, this will be a star.' Drinking Window: 2025-2038
