"The 2019 Syrah Fuego Y Mar comes from a vineyard on the Sonoma Coast (the Silver Eagle Vineyard) and it's brought up in a mix of new and used barrels. It's a more feminine styled beauty offering a gorgeous perfume of black raspberries, wild blueberries, candied violets, smoked game, and pepper to go with a medium to full-bodied, seamless, gorgeously textured style on the palate. Floral, complex, and incredibly compelling, it reminds me of a mix of a great Cornas and a top Côte Rôtie – or I could just say it's a spectacular Sonoma Coast Syrah as well.
