John Duval's Entity Shiraz is an elegant expression of Shiraz from old Barossa vineyards. Approximately one third of the wine comes from old Shiraz vines in the Eden Valley, contributing lifted aromatics and freshness to the wine. This wine is a vibrant purple-red in colour with aromas of violets, boysenberry and blackcurrants and notes of anise and cloves. This is a wonderfully rich, voluptuous Barossa Shiraz, full of blackberry and plum, hints of chocolate, pepper and asian spices. Young but already incredibly enjoyable. Beautifully balanced and great with most roasted meats for example!
