"The 2023 Morgon Grands Cras comes from clayey soils that managed to retain water during the dry stretches of the growing season. This has wonderful delineation on the nose, very lifted and refined with white-tipped strawberry, raspberry and light earthy, almost gravelly scents. The palate is notably well-balanced with a slightly chalky texture on the entry and good backbone, but it's the mineralité from start to finish that makes this cuvée stand out.
