The reviews are still to come for this release, but we are hearing that it is set to be another beautifully classic vintage.
Notes from the winery
A year classified as GOOD by the Regulatory Council of the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin. The 2014 campaign was affected by uneven rainfall throughout the vine cycle: very little until May, stormy between June 26th and September the 12th, and abundant from that date until the end of the cycle. A total of 482 liters of rainfall by December 31. This circumstance meant that the grapes were in excellent health until the first week of September, but due to the complicated weather from that point on, the start of the harvest had to be brought forward to avoid an attack of botrytis. Therefore, the harvest began on September 17th at Viña Gravonia and was completed at Viña Cubillo on October the 18th. As a result, it was a complicated year at the last minute, putting our experience to the test in selecting the best fruits that would allow us to produce wines of the quality level to which we have accustomed our loyal customers.
A vibrant red leading slightly towards amber. Light fresh texture with notes of vanilla and dried berry aromas. Rich, very dry, smooth, developed. Firm tannins and balance.
Wines should be available in June 2026
