55% Cinsault, 30% Syrah, 15% Mourvedre. Situated on the southerly slopes, these parcels of vines are exposed to the cool sea breezes ensuring slow and extended grape ripening. The sandstone soils induce low to moderate vigour which results in low yields but flavour concentration. After pressing the wine was then transferred to 300L French oak barrels, 20 % new, and was allowed to mature for 16 months before bottling.
Delicate aroma with complex notes of pepper, liquorice and black cherries. The palate entry is fresh with lavender but also dark berry fruit. The finish is dry with well-distributed and elegant tannins.
