An increasingly popular grape variety in New Zealand, Pinot Gris thrives in the cooler influenced Nelson, gathering sweet pear and frangipane notes, alongside a wonderfully balanced texture of peach and apricot fruit on the palate. Such a moreish wine, lovely on its own but think ginger and spice, thai curries etc when matching to food.
