Famed for their excellent Sauvignon Blanc's it may well be the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that are their best wines!
The new 2021 Pinot Noir is singing already. Quite floral and perfumed, the palate is already quite silky.
The Pinot Noir is fermented with a portion of whole bunches included in the open-top fermenters, before being racked into French oak (30% new) for 11 months – the resulting wine is highly fragrant, with a rich but fresh structure and a generous palate. Good balance between attractive primary red berry fruits and spice giving a savoury edge. Sure to age well, but incredibly attractive today.
