The Grande Réserve is a blend of 45% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Meunier, and 35% Chardonnay, of which 97.5% of the fruit comes from Grand Cru vineyards.
This creates a very fine fruit, refreshed by the Chardonnay endowing it with an elegant, mineral finish. Bottled at the end of the spring following the harvest, with a base wine of the 2020 vintage and 20% from reserve wines, it sees no malolactic fermentation, and undergoes 5 years minimum ageing on lees in cellars. The dosage is adjusted with precision to preserve the balance between freshness, fruit and vinosity without masking the wine’s character and purity.
