Decanter World Wine Awards 97 points - Platinum Winner
"Staggeringly good wine: myriad aromas of orange blossom, lemon balm and stone fruit with evocative inflections of volcanic minerals and seaside salinity. Wonderfully crunchy with an oyster shell texture and vivid citrus acidity. Long and profound."
Very appealing aromas of green apple, citrus and white flowers. The wine is medium body with medium acidity and a refreshing mineral aftertaste. True Santorini Assytiko really stands out and this wine is no exception.
From vines more than 50 years old mainly from the area of Megalochori on the island, the fermentation is in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The winery uses wild yeast in order to express the varietal characteristics. Long fermentation for 2 months and maturation with total lees for 6-8 months.
