Framingham are making some really good wines, that are refreshingly just that little bit different. From various vineyards mostly in the Wairau Valley. Some partial fermentation on skins, a short time in acacia and oak barrels too, all adds to make a wine far more interesting than your average Marlborough Savvy! Grapefruit and elderflower on the nose, hints of blackcurrant too. Fresh and zesty but with a lovely textural almost creamy mid-palate, herbaceous and crisp at first, then quite rich, with some tropical fruit on the finish and some zesty characters.
