The grapes for Torres Salmos are sourced exclusively from Torres’s La Giberga vineyard, located in the municipality of Porrera. The vineyard, planted on slopes of slate soil “licorella”, experiences extreme changes in temperature between day and night, maintaining freshness. The wine is a blend of Carninena and Garnacha and is aged in new French oak casks for 14 months.
Dark cherry-red colour. Intense, concentrated. Expressive blackcurrant and blackberry fruit, with notes of dried plum and herbs with some of the region’s tell-tale slate-stone minerality. Elegant, velvety tannins and a persistent and rounded finish.
