A lovely no added sulfite, organic red. 97% Syrah, 3% Roussanne. Aged in concrete and steel. Very Northern Rhone in style, smoked bacon, berry and cherry on the nose. Bright and fresh on the palate, smoky bacon, red fruits, pepper, and soft tannins. Crunchy and bright and very attractive. Good depth, characterful and juicy.
"This has always been a one-of-a-kind wine. Naked, brooding and floral. Lots of inky purple fruit with violets, mussel shells, crushed stone and tile. Flavorful, concentrated and full-bodied on the palate, with powerful but tamed tannins. Salvaje for sure, but also pristine. Syrah co-fermented with 3% roussanne. No sulfites added.
