Eirados Douro Touriga Nacional 2021

Lovely deep, full bodied wine from the Douro and made with the local Touriga Nacional. Picked ripe but not overlly so it still has some freshness, black and red cherry fruits- quite floral on the nose. Lovely black cherry fruits with a hint of chocolate and spice on the palate, and some subtle creamy oak, from a short time spent aging in oak barrels. Full but quite soft and already appealing. Would be great with some roast lamb i reckon.
