Made by Domaine Fontareche whose wines we have long enjoyed. This is a great value de-classified Corbieres in reality. Juicy, vibrant and unoaked. Made from 50% Carignan 20% Grenache 20% Syrah, 10% Alicante Bouschet. The grapes are night harvested to ensure freshness and everything is done in a quick, clean modern fashion.
This wine is garnet red in colour, with purple tones. The nose is brimming with bright aromas of red fruits married with a subtle spiciness. Vibrant and juicy on the palate with smooth tannins. Served cool to show its best it's a very versatile, easy drinking red.
