Packed full of autumnal berry fruits, lots of spice and a long pure finish. Big wine but retains a lovely drinkability.
"Deep ruby-hued and borderline opaque, the 2023 Châteauneuf Du Pape Les Olivets is based on 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, and 10% Cinsault and aged in 60% foudre with the rest in truncated tanks. Classic aromatics of meaty black cherries, roasted garrigue, and Provençal spices carry to a medium to full-bodied Châteauneuf du Pape with a broad, layered mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish.
