A long term NYW favourite. "One of my favorite Gigondas estates, Raspail-Ay has made brilliant wines in both 2023 and 2022. Subtle darker berries, Provençal spice, meaty and peppery nuances, and classic garrigue notes all emerge from the 2023 Gigondas, a blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 10% Mourvèdre that was completely destemmed and raised in old foudres. It's medium to full-bodied, has a ripe, layered mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and outstanding length.
