Domaine Lafage 'Authentique' Cotes de Roussillon 2021 Case

Fabulous old vine blend of c30 year old Syrah and , both Grenache and Carignan are from vines over 70 years old. The Syrah is grown on river pebbles close to the Mediterranean, Grenache from the foothills of the Pyreness at Les Aspres and Carignan that is grown on the famous black schist soils of the Agly Valley. Around 20% of the wine is aged in French oak.

Deep in colour, inviting nose of red and black berries with pepper and other spices. Rich and juicy, its extremely drinkable- both soft and bright with a lovely core of warm fruits, long spicy finish.
