"At three years of age, you might expect this wine to be well into its stride, but there is a degree of tension here that makes you stop and reassess the situation. It made me grab a decanter and contemplate logging onto Deliveroo (for a speedy lasagna delivery)! This is a firm, ripe, herbal-tinged wine with a muscular core. It needs a main course and/or time to mellow. One thing is clear: this is a lot of wine for the money, and with two more years (which I think will be the target), it will become a grand wine for a moderate spend!" Matthew Jukes
