"Produced as a stand-alone wine since 1989, with a distinguished track record to prove it, this single parcel Viura comes from a limestone-rich, 8.5-hectare vineyard at 490 metres on the Monte Cantabria outside Logroño. Sappy, structured and still youthful, it has perfumed new French oak, wonderful precision and focus and lemongrass, lime and baking spice flavours. 2024-35" 95 pts Tim Atkin MW Rioja Report 2023
Tasted at Wines Of Spain tasting at end of June and its simply delicious. Young but already offering up loads of fruit and creamy nutty oak, as Tim says it has great acidity that keeps it tangy and fresh but also gives it balance.
