A delicious organic blend of Grenache and Syrah with a little Cinsualt. Lovely bright style, fresh too with lots of berry fruits and spice.
It's a fabulous drink with a great balance.
"The wine is simply belting out the fruit. As full-throated, full-breasted and joyous as a spring dawn sing-off between song thrush and robin. Bursting ripe, scarlet cherries dipped in liquorice, bramble-leaf-scented wild raspberries, a scratchy smudge of cumin seed and caraway. Pure, glorious, untrammelled – this is a wine running down the mountains in the cold air of dawn, scree scrambling underfoot, hair back in the wind, sun rising blood red, the scent of Mediterranean pines in the back of its throat. So much recklessly joyful, let-go energy, but not to be underestimated. This is pure Ventoux and the structure is spiced, savoury and stunningly fresh.
