One of Listrac Medoc's most prominent estates with 17 hectares of vines located on a particularly favourable site between Fourcas Dupré and Fourcas Hosten. Due to Listrac’s cooler temperatures, Yves Raymond looks to Merlot and Cabernet Franc rather than Cabernet Sauvignon as the essence of his wines in order to help them achieve optimum ripeness. The blend is Merlot 65%, Petit Verdot 20%, Cabernet Franc 10%, Cabernet Sauvignon 5%.
This is a well structured wine with aromas of tobacco and flint and delicious cassis and black fruits on the palate. This is classic Bordeaux just as it should be! The 2018 is in its prime.
