"It seems like the sandy soils from the vineyards used for the village red 2020 Valtuille Vino de Villa were quite good at absorbing the extra heat from the year; the wine feels quite harmonious and kept the moderate alcohol level of the 2019. This wine has more abundant but fine-grained tannins, and the 2020 vintage is more powerful—the wines are going to need a little more time in bottle... 4,300 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2021." 93pts Luis Gutiérrez The Wine Advocate
I have drunk this wine twice recently and its just delicious, bright and fresh with an almost gentle creamy charcater on the finish. Incredibly food versatile. The wines fro Galicia are just so diverse and interesting and a far cry frokm the powerful oaky alcoholic wines Spain has been famous for.
